Core de Force - Week 3 Recap

Core de Force - Week 3 Recap

It's hard to believe that I just finished off Day 21 of Core de Force, but here we ARE! I want to give you an update of where things stand for me, now that I'm over halfway through the program.

How I feel: This week, the level of intensity was dialed up and I felt it. The workouts were longer - often paired with additional core work, and I found my mental focus challenged more than once. I felt grateful (once again) for the modifier during those moments when I needed to step back. Admittedly, I do have trouble focusing for long stretches, even when I'm getting my butt kicked! I appreciate that I really needed to think about the moves and try to keep going despite my mind going in many different directions. It's a great challenge for me!

I've never seen muscle definition like that before! This is day 19!

Nutrition: This week was a fun week of the nutrition plan. As I've mentioned, Core de Force follows a "zigzag" method, which is designed to avoid plateaus. I started in a 1200-1500 calorie range and have been adding more calories each week. This week was kind of heavenly, as it meant I was able to have extra fruit AND healthy fat (my favorite!). So far, I've had no trouble following the nutrition plan and this was a good week for me of keeping everything in moderation.

What's Ahead: I fully suspect that next week is going to be the most challenging yet. I'll be back to my original calorie count (see ya additional fruit and healthy fat!) and the workouts do not go down in intensity. I DO love a challenge, so I say...let's do this!

Also....it is a bit of a cruel joke that the new week for me will technically start tomorrow, on Thanksgiving, but it's OK! I'm hosting, which means I get to control the meal and will be offering a few clean substitutions. I plan to really focus on loading up on the protein and veggies. I WILL taste the mascarpone mashed potatoes (yes....I'm doing it), have a glass of wine and certainly indulge in dessert. That being said, I will also do a total BURNER of a workout tomorrow morning AND Friday morning, and make sure to just keep things balanced! In the end, that's what it's all about!

That's it! Stay tuned for another update next week...if I make it ;). I'm also SO excited to share my final results with you. No weighing or measuring yet but I see and feel big time results already!

If you want to give this program a try, or have a little bit of extra support during the next few holiday weeks, my upcoming challenge group (LINK) still has some spots available! Email me, or comment below and I'll get back to you shortly with details!
