Day 16 was one of those days, where my usual temptations were testing. I've had all three kids sick this week and missing a lot of school. This means that some of my temptations to eat and drink the things came back. Luckily I found my cravings were not nearly as strong, and I'm proud of myself for staying the course. It's SO much better to actually feel good and not blurry. I have to admit though, I am looking forward to that glass of wine and some chocolate!
I'm also starting to think now about how my husband and I are going to eat after this reset. I'm going to go into more detail on this, but I really want to try and practice more balance, for both of us. I think this has really set us up nicely to do that. I'm also anticipating going to a VB6 type of diet...most of the time. I really don't subscribe to the idea of labels, and my approach going forward is going to just be about REAL food and what works the best for me.
What I ate:
Breakfast: Fresh Fruit Bowl
Lunch: Microgreens Salad
Optional Snack: Vegan Chocolate Shakeology, Chia Seeds, Mixed Berries
Dinner: Curry Roasted Cauliflower, Lemon Kale, Avocado (It was really tasty thanks to the spices!)
