Things took a turn for the better today. I woke with actual energy and didn't feel the fog as much as days prior. When my little one woke up insanely early yet again, I wasn't unreasonable annoyed, rather felt calm and able to deal with it. Who is this new person?! 

Throughout the day, I was waiting for my energy to crash, but it really didn't. There is no question that I'm starting to feel the results of this program in a very good way.

Despite the energy I had this morning, I was a bit cranky about breakfast. As you'll see below, it's a bit of an unconventional choice and truth be told, I didn't love it. I've learned that one can swap out entire meals for others in the same phase, so that's what I'm going to do going forward. Tempeh...I like you but not for breakfast!

Here is what I ate:

Breakfast: Baked Tempeh, Steamed Kale, 1/8 Avocado (Didn't love this one but I tried it!)

Lunch: Microgeens Salad with homemade greek dressing, Quinoa Salad

Optional Snack: Vegan Shakeology with ice and water

Dinner: Roasted Root Medley, Zucchini-Cashew Soup (LOVED this!)

And with that....this gal is off to sleep! Tomorrow is the last day of this phase. In tomorrow's post I will also talk about my thoughts for the first phase, and the changes that have gone down.
