Day 2 of the reset is coming to a close. The day started off with a dull headache, which I had expected. Getting up was difficult and there was a moment where I really considered going back upstairs to sleep! Luckily, once I got into the groove of lunches and food prep for the day things improved.

Food-wise, I really had NO hunger today which to me is kind of huge. Basically in my non-cleanse life I've been known to get ravenously hungry between meals, but now on a cleanse and I don't have a trace of hunger? Pretty cool, and not exactly what I was expecting! Granted this is only day 2, but this is promising!

The food has been absolutely delicious and the greek salad dressing today had me licking the bowl (seriously). It does take quite a bit of prep work, but I do see opportunities for shortcuts which I will take advantage of the next time I do this cleanse.

Here is the menu for today:

Breakfast: Oatmeal with blueberries, plain greek yogurt and maple syrup

Lunch: Greek Salad with grilled chicken and homemade dressing (missing are the veggies, I forgot them for the shot here!). The dressing is everything. Everything.

Optional Afternoon Snack: Vegan Shakeology

Dinner: Southwestern Veggie Taco

How I feel: I had alternating moments today of real clarity but also real fatigue. Everyone has different reactions to detoxing, and I have a feeling in my case it's fatigue and a bit of a headache. It could be WAY worse. Apparently days 3-5 can be difficult so I'm hopeful that things continue to improve, but I'm keeping my expectations in check. I'm not having any nausea or digestive issues thank goodness!
