WW: 5 Amazing Podcast Episodes

WW: 5 Amazing Podcast Episodes

Wellness Wednesday -- it's a thing in the social media world (#wellnesswednesday), and I've decided to make it a regular series here too. Every Wednesday I'm going to bring you something on my radar from the world of wellness.

This week I want to talk about podcasts. I've shared my favorites with you, but today I'm going to give you my top 5 episodes so that you can get right down to business. Listen while driving to soccer practice, commuting or unloading the dishwasher. Multi-tasking has never felt so productive!

From The Heart - Conversations with Yoga Girl: Manifesting Abundance
I'm starting with one of the more spiritual episodes, but trust me, this is a great one. If you aren't familiar with Yoga Girl, check her out on Instagram. This was one of the first episodes of her new (at the time) podcast and I believe it to still be one of the best. Rachel shares her story and how she built a business out of a dream and her passion. If you don't think manifesting is a thing, this episode just may change your mind.

Mind Body Green Podcast: Tyler Haney
This one really resonated with me. Tyler Haney is the founder of Outdoor Voices and not only is she doing amazing things on a daily basis to grow her company, but her philosophy and thoughts about the future of "athleisure" and fitness are right in line with the way I basically want to live my entire life. I'm not sure if this is a millennial philosophy or not, but guys it's good stuff.

Being Boss Podcast: Finding Your Voice
I'm shifting things a bit here to entrepreneurship -- another of my passions. This episode really helped me start to find my own voice and confidence. This one is perfect for anyone looking to shift from a place of reaction to proactive choices.

One Part Podcast: Simplifying your Life & Ditching the Work-Life Balance
Whether it's work-life balance or just life-life balance, I think this is something so many of us can relate to. There is a lot of talk in this episode about slowing down, which is a hard one for me, but has proven to be very helpful in trying to carve out a little bit of space in this busy life of mine.

The Brendon Show: Quit The Wrong Thing Now
I love this one. I recently went to a retreat that reframed this a bit in terms of energy suckers vs. energy givers, but the concept is the same. We all deserve to take a minute and really think about what in our lives is the "wrong thing". It may surprise you how much time you are devoting to something that just doesn't give you a lot of joy!

Hint: The most inspiring episodes for me are on Mind Body Green. I could have listed all of them here, but wanted to give you variety. If there is one wellness podcast you want to check out - I'd say hop over there.
