Simply Green Smoothie
Lately I've been having trouble getting in enough greens during the course of my day. A good day for me is four servings - that's a a lot of veggies!
There are so many benefits to eating green vegetables. I've felt a difference since making a concerted effort to incorporate more into my diet. Specific changes I've noticed include: less bloating, more energy and a better complexion.
During the winter it can be hard to get enough vegetables. Especially when one lives in a colder climate, like me, where this time of year means hearty fare like stews and casseroles.
Enter the green smoothie! I like to make a very simple one to start my day. In the summer I'll add ice but right now I'm keeping it room temperature. Added benefit, 2 out of 3 of my sons love it!
